It’s a subtle psychological difference, but if you are corresponding in a formal setting, it is worth taking care to write complete sentences. In that example, making the sentence longer was the solution. Now the fragment has become a dependent clause attached to a sentence that has a subject ( the party) and a verb ( was canceled). The ability to edit text allows you to fix the odd typo that made its way into the PDF without needing access to the original source document. That sort of markup is also regularly used by editors when pointing out where corrections need to be made and changes are required. Loin pork chop recipes11/14/2023 ![]() If the butcher leaves it attached to the loin when the loin is cut into chops, it makes up part of a T-bone steak. (It is the same cut as a beef filet mignon.) It is a darker red color than the loin meat, and very tender and tasty. The tenderloin is a long, lean piece of meat that runs along the length of the loin. If you find oddly-shaped chops in the supermarket case, they are most likely end-pieces of either side of the loin. Other center-cut chops may include a round piece of the tenderloin (like a beef T-bone steak) these chops are superb. Rib chops cut from the center-cut section have the classic "chop" shape, with a round eye of meat set at the bottom of a curved bone. Roast Loin of Pork with Baked Apples and Cider Gravy. If it is cut strictly from the rib section, it is called a rack of pork two racks tied together form a "crown roast" of pork. A "center-cut" roast is considered by many cooks to make one of the best pork roasts. If you have the time, a home brine is an excellent way to ensure that a loin roast will not dry out.Ī term you will often see is "center cut," which refers to the center part of the loin and includes the rib section (like a beef rib-eye steak). You may come across stew recipes that call for loin meat, for which you're better off using the less expensive shoulder. Loin cuts are excellent roasted, grilled, sautéed, broiled or cooked as kebabs. The leaner cuts should not be cooked past medium (and is even better served medium-rare). Therefore, a sirloin roast is a roast cut from the ham end and it is quite lean a blade roast is a roast that is cut from the shoulder end of the loin and is somewhat fattier. The important thing to know is that the meat is fatter at the shoulder end (also called blade end) of the loin, and leaner at the ham end (called the sirloin end). (If you visualize a pig and imagine that the shoulders, hams and belly have been removed, what you have left is the loin.) The loin is sold in chops and roasts, both with and without bone and the loin is cut into a number of sections. And, you get to reap the rewards of beautiful, inexpensive, easy recipes such as Baked Pork Loin Chops. The loin is the back of the pig, and it runs from shoulder to leg. So, there you go, Dear Reader, a little inside scoop on how my recipe/blogger life sometimes works. The only thing I did differently was to switch out the chicken for the pork loin chops. I had taken the time to follow the recipe exactly as it was sent to me. In this case though, starting over wasn’t needed. I’ve had it happen where I’ll try a new recipe, set everything up, drag out my camera and tripod, blah, blah, blah – only to have the recipe taste horrible. I can’t necessarily try to take pictures of the pork loin chops after I’ve eaten them. So, before I dig in to the recipe, I need to set up a table setting and take some photos. Ha! Being a food blogger, sometimes, I get to experiment with recipes that I’ve never made before. She gave her two thumbs up and I knew I had a winner. ![]() Once the dish came out of the oven, I quickly took a picture and sent it to my ex mother-in-law. I could seriously just soak that sauce up into some good crusty bread and make a very satisfying meal! The colour was a beautiful, bright red – that sauce is perfectly fine on it’s own, to be completely honest. The sauce thickened and adhered to the chops. The pork loin chops keep their shape very well. The result, as you can see, was beautiful. Then, I sat back and worked on my crochet projects until my kitchen cooking timer scared the hell out of me. I whisked up the sauce, poured it over, and threw it in the oven. So, with a nice pork loin ready to go, I sliced it into 4 thick chops – about an inch thick. Her response was simple and just what I needed to hear to get started – “I can’t see why not!” At the time, she was out of town visiting with her sister, but it just so happened that her sister had the recipe written down, so a quick picture was taken and sent back to me.Īfter reading the recipe, I questioned my ex mother-in-law whether or not she thought the sauce would work well with the pork loin. When the recipe popped back into my mind a few weeks ago, I typed out a Facebook message to my ex mother-in-law asking her for the recipe. This recipe lends itself well to cheaper cuts of chicken. They would mostly use chicken thighs or legs. My ex wife and her mom used to make this dish all the time. And it was introduced to me by means of chicken, not pork. This recipe is one that I was introduced to about 15 years ago. No fuss, no mess, no pretentious ingredients. Baked Pork Loin Chops are a set it and forget about it meal changer. Moist, tender, saucy, delicious – that sums up this recipe very well. Fire grand trine meaning11/14/2023 Look for the Grand Fire Trine in your Natal chart. ![]() Whatever you end up doing, don't self-medicate during this time since escapism won't replace a proactive approach. Mars in Sagittarius wants to go on an adventure either mental or physical. Jupiter in Leo especially asks us to take care of ourselves by pursuing creative and imaginative outlets. This trine can bolster our confidence and courage to face whatever comes up. Remember last April? The difference now is that we have a Grand Fire Trine bringing support. To get an idea revisit my post on the the Lunar Eclipse with the Moon in Libra April 2014. When Leo and Aries are involved we expect high drama. And this makes sense since we can experience a lot of drama both individually and on the world stage with these aspects. The themes that are coming up for the intuitives I watched on YouTube recently (both angel and astrological intuitives), promote the idea of self-care and staying clear of drama. Since the Sun, Moon, North Node, Venus, Uranus and Pluto lock into a Cardinal T-Cross further emphasized by the Lunar Eclipse energies we find our release with Jupiter in Leo (which squares Saturn in Scorpio at 21 degrees) and Mars in Sagittarius. ![]() And we now gaze at the push-pull affect of the Kite which involves sextiles between the Sun and Venus with Jupiter and Mars, oppositions with the Sun and North Node with Uranus and the Moon, a Square with Uranus and Pluto as well as, the Sun and Venus square and Pluto and the fire trines with Jupiter, Uranus and Mars. We have already taken a look at the Total Lunar Eclipse with the Moon in Aries and Sun in Libra. ![]() What this means is the energies could cause either destruction to a current situation or bring a sense of justice (at-peace). Both the eclipse and the Grand Trine lock into the Uranus-Pluto Square (3 degree orb) as well as a Kite configuration. My intuition told me to take a more detailed gaze at the Grand Fire Trine involving Mars in Sagittarius (16 degrees), Jupiter in Leo (17 degree) and Uranus in Aries (14 degrees) in connection with the Total Lunar Eclipse at 15 degrees Aries/Libra. Hd dirt 311/14/2023 Instead, you begin as a professional driver just signed by an agent. There's no longer an RV that travels around the world stopping at different events as in Dirt 2. ![]() Animated cars spit out bundles of triangles from the tires, and the look is spot-on, keeping in tradition with the unique, beautiful menu aesthetic the series is known for. These unfolding shapes reveal events, seasons, tours and freeplay options. In Dirt 3, triangles are the design center of the menu presentation. The impact of a bad drift or a head-on collision smacks you in the gut. From the trackside fan shout-outs to the crunch of packing snow, the details are what make the soundscape superb throughout. Not just in the roar of engines, but also in the details. From ultra-detailed graphic settings to racing wheel calibration and force feedback, the PC allows the most hardcore rigs to experience the game at its greatest. There are several adjustments to smooth the experience on a high-end computer. Car bodies collect dust and snow buildup, and the shiny gleam of rain on the windshield sets the tone of a muddy race. Details like background fireworks and pedestrians scrambling out of the way are a nice touch in a world that feels alive, even in the remotest locations. Watching sunsets and sliding through puddles in the rain is stunning, at both high and low speeds. Dirt 3 is the best looking Dirt game to date. Driving older cars, like the Fiat 131 Abarth, is a stark contrast to the feel of souped-up Trailblazer cars. Dirt 3 reaches across all decades of rally racing giving the option to pull vehicles dating back to the sixties. Regardless of their organization, the full set of cars is impressive. My favorite cars gathered cobwebs for this very reason. Also, the newest cars provide the greatest driving bonuses, so choosing anything less will lead to earning fewer points. It feels as though nothing's been accomplished when the garage is full of random new cars I didn't specifically choose. Money's been thrown out the window and cars are automatically sent over by teams and sponsors through leveling up. Codemasters made an odd choice with car collections. And with so many time-specific events, repeating races is a surefire path to longevity. The locations, track variations, and event types make this a ride that lasts a long time. The main tour is split into four seasons, but as the podiums add up, six discipline-specific tours emerge, pushing the total race count to even higher numbers. Don't get me wrong, every discipline has been expanded, but rally keeps the highest event count. Not only has rally returned to the forefront in event selection, entire disciplines can be minimized if they don't hold your interest. great job.On the event side, Dirt 3's choices keep coming. Easy margarita pitcher recipe11/14/2023 Other margaritas you might want to test out: Frozen Strawberry Margarita | Apple Cider Margaritas | Cherry Lemonade Margaritas | Strawberry Margarita | Cantaloupe Mint Margarita | Cucumber Margarita | Pineapple Margarita These two ingredients really take the classic margarita and elevate it to the “top shelf” experience. It offers a more complex depth of flavor than traditional triple sec or Cointreau, and you’ll taste hints of vanilla and oak along with the orange burst of flavor. Grand Marnier is a top shelf orange liqueur. Whatever you consider a premium tequila, use that! Mostly, this depends on your tastebuds and budget. There are lots of tequilas that fall under this “top shelf” umbrella.Whatever tequila you purchase, just be sure that it’s labeled 100% blue agave and not a blend. Some Cadillac Margarita recipes recommend using a reposado tequila or Añejo tequila, which is tequila that’s been aged and is older than blanco (also called joven (young) tequila.).Use the best tequila you can afford because better ingredients makes for a better overall drink. Top shelf silver/blanco tequila is what this recipe calls for. (You could also call this a Grand Marnier Margarita.) Unlike a classic margarita, which calls for silver tequila and triple sec, this Cadillac Margarita recipe elevates it by using premium tequila and Grand Marnier. It’s nice and smooth, so you can sip it easy! What makes this top shelf margarita recipe special It’s really delicious and well-balanced, so you don’t get a punch in the face from the tequila like you do in some margaritas. This top shelf margarita recipe calls for FOUR quality ingredients. Think of this as the classic Cointreau margarita, but elevated. Our year of the margarita continues today with this (fancy pants) Cadillac Margarita. Dynamic viscosity meaning11/13/2023 What is the viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids?įor most of these so-called non-Newtonian fluids, the viscosity can be described by a nonlinear function of the stress-strain rate tensor E or more specifically its first principal invariant ˙γ = 1 2√E: E. Non-Newtonian fluids do not follow Newton’s law and, thus, their viscosity (ratio of shear stress to shear rate) is not constant and is dependent on the shear rate. ![]() The viscosity is independent of the shear rate. Newtonian fluids obey Newton’s law of viscosity. What is Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids? What is the difference between Newtonian and non Newtonian fluid? ![]() s (Pascal-second), but the centipoise is frequently used in practice: (1 mPa.What is the unit of apparent viscosity?Īpparent viscosity has the SI derived unit Pa If you divide kinematic viscosity by the fluid density, you get absolute viscosity. Thus, dynamic viscosity is a measure of force, while kinematic viscosity is a measure of velocity. Kinematic viscosity incorporates fluid density as part of its measurement. What is the difference between dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity? liquids and gases, as either Newtonian or non-Newtonian depending on the viscosity of the fluid. The key difference between Newtonian and non Newtonian fluids is that Newtonian fluids have a constant viscosity, whereas non-Newtonian fluids have a variable viscosity. What is the difference between Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids? For a Newtonian fluid, the apparent viscosity is constant, and equal to the Newtonian viscosity of the fluid, but for non-Newtonian fluids, the apparent viscosity depends on the shear rate. What is apparent viscosity in non-Newtonian fluid?Īpparent viscosity (sometimes denoted η) is the shear stress applied to a fluid divided by the shear rate ( ). This device remains the most commonly used for measuring viscosity for non-Newtonian fluids because of features such as simplicity, accuracy, similarity to process flows like extrusion dies and no free surface. In fact, the capillary viscometer was the first viscometer. Which one can be used for the determination of viscosity of non-Newtonian? A fluid is said to be non-Newtonian when its measured viscosity depends on the shear rate with which the measurement is conducted. Many, if not most, fluids exhibit non-Newtonian behavior. Non-Newtonian fluid viscosity measurement with inline viscometer SRV. Which type of viscometer is used for non-Newtonian fluid? What is effective viscosity?īy definition, the effective viscosity means the viscosity of Newtonian fluid that gives the same shear stress at the same shear rate. In Newtonian fluids, this value doesn’t change, but with non-Newtonian fluids, apparent viscosity is directly affected by the shear rate. Apparent (shear) viscosity: Apparent, or shear, viscosity refers to the relationship between viscosity and shear rate. It can be defined as the ratio of dynamic viscosity to density.
